Aquatics Manager  Â

Under the direction of the Director, Fitness and Wellness, the Manager, Aquatics develops and coordinates all aquatic programs and services within the LifeStyles Center.Â

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.Â
Responsibilities:
- Manages department operations and personnel.
- Completes staffing, training, work flow analysis and performance management.
- Manages staffing to ensure appropriate allocation and compliance with goals and objectives.
- Monitors quality and financial performance.
- Ensures compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, quality requirements and customer service standards.
- Recommends enhancement and cost saving strategies.
- Resolves interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure and policy application.
- Develops, monitors and implements programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service.
- Analyzes programs and makes improvements. Participates in managers meetings and relevant committees as assigned by Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Associate’s degree required.Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field preferred.
- A High School diploma/GED and five years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements. Â
- A Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience may substitute the work experience requirement.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to take appropriate action in a stressful environment.
Work Experience:
- Three years of team lead, supervisory or management experience required.Â
- Healthcare experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $27.65
Maximum hourly: $42.17
