Responsibilities:
- Implements short and long term goals consistent with those of EVS and clinical units.
- Manages quality assurance and performance improvement activities within the assigned areas.
- Interprets and ensures compliance with all appropriate codes and standards. Provides direct supervision of assigned EVS team members.
- Ensures that all members have a performance management program.
- Ensures that policies and procedures are consistently applied throughout the program.
- Performs regular evaluation and mentoring of all team members.
- Assists with the development and implementation of programs for the professional growth of members in areas of responsibility, both technical and behavioral.
- Participates in the development of environmental services operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.
- Increases efficiency and effectiveness of environmental services activities with a goal of decreasing expenses.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Work Experience:
- Demonstrated hospitality or housekeeping management track record consisting of at least five years of experience at a supervisor level.
Physical Requirements:
- Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC, normal or corrected vision, extensive sitting and frequent walking.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $30.41
Maximum hourly: $46.38
