The Director of Caregiver Wellbeing helps caregivers achieve health and wellness goals aligning with our CGO purpose pillar of achieving fulfillment. You will help provide programs and resources to improve the well-being of each individual caregiver. This role oversees the Well Being Program Managers as well as the Program Managers that run the CC fitness centers enterprise wide.Â

A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm. Â

A caregiver who excels in this role will:Â Â

Plan, develop, and ensure effective implementation of caregiver well-being programs.Â

Collaborate with leadership, informal networks, and communication channels to understand strengths and weaknesses of the organization(s)/site(s) being served in development of overall programming and individual plans.Â

Direct and manage the overall operation of the caregiver well-being programs and services within Workplace Wellness.Â

Develop long and short-range strategies and financial plans, work through managers to ensure effective daily operations, fostering partnerships with others in organization as required (e.g., EHP, Institutes, Nursing, etc.).Â

Ensure effective service delivery for programs at Cleveland Clinic Health System sites.Â

Work specifically with Nursing Institute leadership to design and implement programs targeted at increasing well-being of nurses.Â

Oversee and ensure effective operations of all Cleveland Clinic owned fitness centers and solutions.Â

Provide overall direction to personnel, budget development, administration and development and attainment of productivity and financial targets and outcomes for the department.Â

Ensure consistency and equitable administration of Cleveland Clinic policies, procedures, compensation, and other resources.Â

Oversee development of marketing plan(s) and appropriate execution thereof for caregiver well-being products and services to internal and external clients, as appropriate.Â

Advocate and integrate programming into caregiver well-being programs and associated operational processes as appropriate.Â

Communicate with physicians, administrators, department, and division/institute chairs, ITD, media relations, marketing, and nursing leadership to ensure the provision of programs to caregivers.Â

Direct and ensure proper measurement and enhancement of the revenue generation for services, where applicable, adhering to Cleveland Clinic policies and processes.Â

Plan for development of and navigating institutional mechanisms to ensure resources associated with programs are provided throughout Cleveland Clinic locations.Â
Â
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Â Â

Bachelor’s degree (with emphasis in health-related field preferred). Â

7 years of professional and functionally relevant experience, including 3 years of demonstrated management experience.Â

OR Master’s degree may substitute 2 years of professional and functionally relevant experience.Â

Experience developing and managing health promotion programs including program development and implementation, operations and facility management, and personnel supervision.Â

Can work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and interface effectively with divergent groups.Â

Passion for health promotion and a strong desire to help people achieve health and wellness goals.Â

Interpersonal skills and exhibits strong oral and written communication skills sufficient to prepare and conduct presentations, including capability to gain approval for resources to move programming forward.Â
Â
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Â Â

Master's degree.Â

Management experience in medical/health care facility.Â

Knowledge of the special needs of physicians, nurses, and other health professionals.Â

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.Â
- Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.
- Ability to operate a computer, audio visual and other office equipment.          Â
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information, including the ability to deliver any applicable training in person and virtually.
- In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.

- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $44.53
Maximum hourly: $67.92

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
