Research Data Scientist II – Immunotherapy & Precision Immuno-Oncology

The Center for Immunotherapy & Precision Immuno-Oncology (CITI) is a state-of-the-art center dedicated to immunotherapy research, discovery and developmental therapeutics, with the ultimate goal to make precision immuno-oncology available for every patient.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 4:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques, high performance data architectures and technologies to build algorithms and perform data analytics.

Utilize methods in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AL), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design and implement data solutions.

Document best practices and solution frameworks.

Collaborate with team members to develop analytical techniques.

Utilize programming skills in SAS, SQL, SPSS and R or Python to create and design new reports independently.

Conduct in-depth data analysis to develop and test hypotheses.

Provide guidance to other team members on building basic models.

Communicate and present analytical findings to other investigators.

Identify innovative technologies available for analytical area.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or a related field.

Four years of experience conducting data analytics, math or statistical modeling or machine learning.

Highly proficient programing skills in languages such as SAS, SQL, SPSS, R, Python, or similar.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Master’s degree in a similar field. This may substitute two years of required experience.

PhD in a similar field. This may substitute the experience requirement.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $36.80
Maximum hourly: $56.13
