The Senior Nursing Director of Care Management oversees inpatient care management for Cleveland Clinic Florida and collaborates with the Associate Chief Nursing Officer to ensure an enterprise-wide strategic approach. This leader ensures role standardization and clarity and serves as an expert care coordination resource to nurse managers, team leaders, social workers, educators, and the inter-professional team. Additionally, this leader manages strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and the coordination of multiple disciplines.Â

Cultivate business strategies to support and market patient-centered programs across the enterprise.Â

In collaboration with institute directors, ensure nursing standards and best practices are realized, related to specific areas of responsibility.Â

Provide leadership for development and oversight of processes and systems to enhance the patient experience.Â

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand complex issues, recognize decision points and design and deliver creative solutions, while partnering with key members of the inter-professional team.Â

Manage strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and the coordination of multiple disciplines.Â

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:Â

BSN with master’s degreeÂ
-
State of Florida Registered Nurse (RN) licensureÂ

Five years recent clinical practice, to include three years of healthcare managementÂ
-
Understanding and knowledge of all departments and specialtiesÂ

Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in ambulatory nursing practiceÂ
-
Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills, analytical abilities and leadership skillsÂ
