As a Registered Radiology Technologist, you will be part of a knowledgeable family of caregivers that is constantly seeking ways to hone their skills in order to provide the best patient experience possible. A caregiver in this position works weekend days from 6:00AM – 6:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
- Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
- Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
- Maintain documentation.
- Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
- Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing
- Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Lifting or assisting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily
