Working with these teams collaboratively, you will learn and grow your knowledge in these areas.Â

A caregiver in this position works days, 7:30am—5:00pm. Â

A caregiver who excels in this role will:Â Â

Take responsibility for the safe and continuous operation of the assigned facilities shop/trade including Preventative Maintenance, Operation and testing in accordance with state laws, applicable codes, and policies.Â

Ensure compliance with all facility regulatory and accreditation requirements.Â

Establish systems and processes to attract, develop, engage, and retain talented employees.Â

Develop Preventative Maintenance needed for maintaining building systems and trade standards/specifications.Â

Establish systems and processes to attract, develop, engage, and retain talented employees.Â

Create a work environment where people can realize their full potential to meet current and future clinical and business challenges.Â

Through coaching and mentoring, it provides ongoing performance feedback to assigned employees.Â

Ensure staffing and capacity planning for the assigned shop/trade.Â

Focus and guide assigned employees in accomplishing work objectives; holding elevated expectations for self and others.Â

Develop and initiate training and operating procedures for respective shop and ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures, and protocols.Â

Perform quality assurance reviews of work completed by assigned employees.Â

Analyze problems and coordinate work plans with other departments as appropriate.Â

Manage current expenses in a responsible manner. Reviews inventory of equipment and materials and initiates purchase requisitions.Â

Maintain basic knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory, and administrative requirements relative to departmental operations and ensure departmental compliance.Â

Generate Infrastructure requirements and prioritization for the assigned region working closely with the Director of InfrastructureÂ
Â
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Â Â

Completion of apprenticeship trade or vocational school. Â
-
OR knowledge obtained through four years of on-the-job training experience in the appropriate area of responsibility.Â

Associates degree. Â
-
OR substituted by an additional two years of experience.Â
-
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related field. Â
-
OR an additional four years of supervisory or managerial experience may substitute degree requirement.Â
-
Master license and other licenses required as appropriate for trade.Â
-
Four years of experience as a fully qualified tradesperson or technician in respective area of responsibility (e.g., electrical, plumbing).Â
-
Can work with employees, interdepartmental teams, and organizational leadership across the enterprise to effectively complete goals.Â

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:Â Â

Membership in professional trade organization.Â
-
Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM), Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) or Professional Engineer (PE).Â

An additional two years of previous supervisory or managerial experience or a demonstration of formal education in business management.Â

Healthcare experience.Â

Physical Requirements:

Typical physical demands require full body motion including ability to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching, climbing ladders; requires dexterity and strength sufficient to operate required tools and machinery; typically required to lift and carry machinery and/or equipment weighing 25 to 100 lbs. and/or assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lbs.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $44.53
Maximum hourly: $67.92
