Tradition Hospital is looking to add a Nursing Operations Manager to the team, who will serve as the responsible agent for any circumstances requiring immediate response, resolution or referral. This caregiver will also have the opportunity to float to Martin North and Martin South Hospitals, as well, allowing for the opportunity to oversee a variety of different modalities. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 7:30PM. Tradition Hospital is the primary work location, but floating to Martin North and Martin South Hospitals will be required, as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Serve as administration on-site and as a responsible agent for any circumstances requiring immediate response, resolution, or referral.
-
Initiate, prioritize, and resolve situations that impact patient care delivery, the safety of patients, visitors, and caregivers through collaboration with departments.
-
Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services in a unit.
-
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
-
Monitor and adhere to the annual hospital operating budget.
-
Approve or monitor expenditures, purchases, and other actions to ensure compliance with budget guidelines.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
-
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of professional nursing
-
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications through American Heart Association (AHA)
-
Two-three years of experience in acute care
-
Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., conflict resolution, communication and leadership)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Master's degree in nursing or a related field

One year of experience in a management role

Computer skills
