As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling, planning, implementing and managing Cleveland Clinic products and services to employers and their local, national and international intermediaries. Here, you will collaborate with team members on various business developments and client relationship goals. A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Develop and execute sophisticated business development strategies to create, expand, and sustain high-value partnerships with payor accounts across local, national, and international markets.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for assigned high-value accounts, focusing on retention through strategic relationship management and identifying opportunities to upsell and expand services in alignment with financial targets.
- Oversee targeted marketing campaign strategies (e.g., print, digital, social, other) to train, educate, and drive benefit engagement (i.e. utilization) on assigned accounts, resulting in net new patient utilization of Cleveland Clinic product offerings.
- Manage the sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and execution, ensuring smooth transitions and long-term account satisfaction.
- Leads sales, marketing, and advisory initiatives across Fortune 1000 companies, government entities, distribution channels, and national broker/consultant networks.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and brand ambassador, reinforcing the Cleveland Clinic value proposition through every account interaction.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of complex healthcare trends, research, and employer benefits issues—including cost drivers, outcomes, and market benchmarks.
- Maintain timely and accurate records in CRM systems, documenting account interactions, updates, and activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of individual, work unit, and department OKR goals and growth initiatives.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or other related field.
- Offset: Associate's Degree and 10 years of experience.
- Offset: High School Diploma/GED and 12 years of experience.
- MBA or business-related Master’s degree preferred.
- 8 years of demonstrated success in sales, marketing or account management growth role managing multiple multi-million-dollar accounts.
- Health & Welfare Benefits experience with self-funded employers preferred.
- Managed care experience preferred.
- Consultative Account Management & Sales preferred.
- Complex Account Relationship Management preferred.
- Account Success: Oversight & Implementation preferred.
- Marketing & Digital Engagement (B2B2C) preferred.
- Point Solution Marketplaces preferred.
- Reporting & Strategic Insights preferred.
- CRM documentation and recordkeeping preferred.
- Health insurance licensure is preferred.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
- Ability to clearly communicate by phone, video conference calls and in person.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $36.80
Maximum hourly: $56.13
