The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute’s Department of Pain Management and Center for Spine and Pain Management announces its search for a Pain Medicine Specialist to work in the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital pain management program in Canton, Ohio.
We invite highly qualified, fellowship trained, Board Certified candidates with a minimum of 6-years post-fellowship clinical experience who are committed to excellence in patient care and possess strong clinical and interventional pain skills. Responsibilities will include clinical care and service as a local medical director for the pain management program.
The Center for Spine and Pain Management consists of 29 pain medicine physicians, 10 PM&R physicians, 4 chronic pain physicians, 17 spine surgeons, 4 psychologists, 49 advanced practice providers and 19 fellows working at 29 clinical sites in Ohio. The Department of Pain Management includes Cleveland Clinic physicians in Florida, London, and Abu Dhabi. The Department actively collaborates with members of the Neurological Institute and other institutes, departments and clinicians in the Cleveland Clinic system. The department features a large ACGME accredited fellowship program in pain medicine and is one of the largest and oldest in the United States. The department has an active basic science and clinical research program.
This position would involve a collaborative clinical practice within the Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital pain management program. Clinicians in the department of pain management work closely with other specialists in the Neurological Institute, particularly in the Center for Spine and Pain Management, the Comprehensive Pain Recovery program and Neuroimaging to provide evidence-informed, comprehensive world class spine care.
