As a Delivery Driver for Homecare Pharmacy Services, you will ensure TPN, Infusion medications and IV supplies are properly distributed as directed by the Pharmacy Department. Upon departure from the facility, you will inform patients of your upcoming arrival, offer assistance with unloading supplies at their home and provide a stellar “Patients First” experience at all times. This position offers an excellent way to enhance your customer service skills while making a meaningful difference in your community.
A caregiver in this position works evenings from 12:00PM – 8:30PM, with every fourth Saturday requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Perform pre-delivery cleaning and testing of equipment.
- Work collaboratively with the Pharmacy and Warehouse teams to prioritize deliveries.
- Perform delivery of medication, supplies and home medical equipment to patients’ homes and retrieve medical equipment as needed.
- Assure proof of delivery documentation is completed and returned.
- Interact directly with the patient or patient’s caregiver, ensuring excellence throughout the patient experience.
- Escalate safety concerns noticed in the home environment.
- Store medication, supplies and equipment in vehicles securely and safely according to OSHA, TJC and other regulatory groups.
- Handle hazardous medications safely according to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory groups.
- Maintain delivery vehicle safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
- Support basic inventory duties for supplies.
- If requested by patient, leave non high-risk supplies in designated area in their absence.
- Alert dispatch if patient is unavailable to determine the best course of action for delivery.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid Driver’s License (VDL)
- Obtain and maintain eligibility to operate Foundation vehicles
- Two years of delivery experience (e.g., FedEx, RTA, hospital deliveries, etc.)
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Experience related to specialty pharmacy or homecare

Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift 60 pounds, load and unload trucks, sit or stand for the majority of a workday, bend kneel or crouch to set up and move equipment and use 2 wheeler safely.
