Cleveland Clinic, one of the world’s leading academic medical centers, is seeking a Pediatric Hematology Oncology physician with expertise in Pediatric Transplant, Cellular, and Gene Therapy to join its growing regional team. This opportunity offers a highly collaborative and engaging environment, supported by the resources of Cleveland Clinic Children’s Institute and the Taussig Cancer Institute, to deliver exceptional care to pediatric and young adult patients. The selected candidate will become part of a vibrant and expanding division that includes 21 pediatric hematologists/oncologists, two PhDs, 10 nurse practitioners, and dedicated disease-based care coordinators, collectively providing more than 10,000 patient visits annually. The division offers comprehensive hematology/oncology services, including a FACT-accredited Blood and Marrow Transplantation (BMT) program, and actively participates in numerous collaborative groups such as COG, PTCTC, ENGRAFT, NEXT Consortium, NAPAAC, NICER Consortium, Sunrise Consortium, Beat Childhood Cancer Consortium, and the Sickle Cell Disease Alliance. The program includes a well-established ACGME-accredited fellowship and maintains close collaboration with the Children’s Institute, Taussig Cancer Institute, and Case Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The successful candidate will join a dedicated BMT and cellular therapy team composed of four pediatric hematology/oncology physicians, six advanced practice providers supporting both inpatient and outpatient care, and two BMT care coordinators. This team is actively engaged in leadership roles and maintains strong connections with national foundations and consortia focused on transplant and cellular therapies. The role emphasizes continued program growth through the care of pediatric BMT and gene therapy patients, provision of second opinions both virtually and in person for patients nationally and internationally, and participation in the development of innovative clinical trials. The candidate will also contribute to advancing clinical knowledge through prospective and retrospective research, while demonstrating a strong commitment to education by teaching fellows, residents, medical students, and other trainees.
Qualified candidates should be board-certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or hold combined certification in Internal Medicine Hematology and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, and be eligible for appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level based on experience and academic achievements. A faculty appointment with the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University is anticipated, along with robust research opportunities through the Lerner Research Institute and support for quality improvement initiatives. The salary range displayed in this job posting reflects the anticipated salary range for new physicians hired into full-time (100% FTE) positions. This range is generally aligned with or below the 50th percentile of nationally recognized compensation benchmarks by specialty. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined in accordance with fair market value, considering factors such as professional experience, clinical expertise, board certification, work history, and FTE. This stated range excludes the value of Cleveland Clinic’s comprehensive benefits package, which includes healthcare, dental, vision, retirement, and other offerings.

Minimum salary: $190,250
Maximum salary: $276,500
