The Surgery Center at Tradition Hospital is looking to add a Business Manager to the team. A caregiver in this role will oversee the billing department, including billing, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable and end-of-the-month reporting. You will collaborate with Clinical Managers to ensure fiscally responsible operations, while implementing, monitoring and evaluating the overall business functions. Having a background in financial analysis combined with strong soft skills and people management experience will allow you to excel in this role.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Implement, monitor and evaluate the overall business functions of the service units.

Ensure compliance with all JCAHO, state and local regulatory agencies.

Participate in departmental quality improvement activities and report findings, conclusions, recommendations, plans for actions and follow-ups.

Identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
-
Meet with key physician stakeholders to discuss growth opportunities, strategies to enhance services and other pertinent issues.

Develop a budget plan (capital, staffing and operational) according to organizational goals.
-
Ensure appropriate communication regarding practices, equipment or supplies which affect the cost per case and billing/coding practices.
-
Implement a mechanism which allows for product requests to be evaluated from clinical, cost and service perspectives.
-
Develop and implement a mechanism for equipment acquisition, storage and maintenance on an ongoing basis.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor's degree in related field
-
Three years of Materials Management experience in a related field
-
Proficiency with desktop applications
-
Knowledge of business administrative functions including budget development and management, cost analysis, operations analysis and project management
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
-
Master’s degree
-
Experience in healthcare billing with a focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) facilitation
-
Strong understanding of payer and insurance processes

Background in financial analysis

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $57,510.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $87,697.50
