Cleveland Clinic is seeking a dynamic and driven individual to serve as Senior Director, Development for its Nevada region. A caregiver in this role will make a direct impact by engaging with donors, securing donations and maintaining relationships with donors, community members and partners.
The Senior Director, Development secures philanthropic gifts through a process of identifying, qualifying, strategizing, cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects to benefit research, education and patient care programs at Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center in Nevada.
A caregiver in this role works Monday-Friday, from 8 a.m. — 5 p.m., in a hybrid setting. Caregivers in this role should be expected to travel 10% of the time.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Identify and secure new philanthropic sponsors and attendees for KMA signature events through cold calls, visits and other appropriate contact to grow both sponsorships and attendance.

Engage existing sponsors and donors to drive ticket sales and attendance at KMA signature events.

Attend KMA events to engage with attendees to deepen donor relations and inspire future giving.

Coordinate and conduct regular donor tours at the Center and donor engagement opportunities with key leaders and physicians.

Provide support for VIP patients at the Center and help ensure a positive patient experience.

Routinely record engagement activity in the donor CRM tool, PHIL, and provide regular updates on donor activity.

Collaborate with the Philanthropy team on major gift strategy, solicitations, and the development cycle.

Provide personal updates and communications with donors concerning the impact of their gifts at the Center.

Engage with community members to promote the services of Cleveland Clinic Nevada.

Assist in philanthropy projects, events and programs as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in English language, with excellent oral and written communication skills

At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in fundraising and development

Demonstrated success and experience in fundraising strategies for donor cultivation and direct solicitation
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $40.48
Maximum hourly: $61.74
