As a caregiver that’s part of Food and Nutrition Services, you will be setting up, handling delivery, and services of food daily. You will work alongside caregivers and patients while providing world-class service along with maintaining cleanliness and sanitation practices.
A caregiver in this position works rotating day/evening shifts from 5:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. or 10:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Maintaining, breaking down, sanitizing, and re-stocking tray–line areas according to department procedures.

Demonstrate proper handling, storage, and transportation of utensils, pots, pans, and more.

Maintaining portion sizes and appearances of food on trays.
-
Ensuring cold foods stay cold and hot foods stay hot according to guidelines.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
-
Can work in a fast paced, stressful environment under minimal supervision.
-
Has strong detailed orientation skills.

Physical Requirements:

Able to push, pull/move patient carts weighing up to 350 lbs.
