Our Weekend Flex Program offers an excellent opportunity for flexibility to enjoy personal time, all while providing quality patient care on the weekends. With this schedule, you will work two 12-hour shifts every weekend and one during the week. Weekend shift options start at 7:00PM on Fridays and end at 7:30AM on Mondays. Serving in this role allows you to be with loved ones, fulfill life responsibilities, take care of children and complete anything else that may interfere with a typical weekday workload. Even more, Cleveland Clinic offers 36 hours but will pay you for 44 hours. You also gain full-time status and all our included benefits. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 7:30PM. This position supports the weekend float pool at Main Campus. Required to work every Saturday and Sunday plus one weekday shift.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
-
Perform scrub and circulating functions.
-
Prepare the OR, surgical instruments and equipment for use.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
-
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
-
One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program
-
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire if performing moderate/procedural sedation

Physical Requirements:

Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
