Responsibilities:
- Clean and test specified respiratory devices / equipment.
- May deliver and recover respiratory devices / equipment.
- Appropriately documents work activities.
- Receive incoming vendor orders including, but not limited to, oxygen tanks and PAP supplies.
- Pick, pack and ship respiratory supplies to patients in the home / facility.
- Run reports and assist with inventory duties as needed.
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Certifications:
- Must have a valid state driver’s license (VDL), a good driving record, obtain and maintain eligibility as determined by CCF’s insurance carrier’s requirements to operate Foundation vehicles
Competencies (Complexity of Work):
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work successfully in a fast-pace, time constrained environment
Work Experience:
- Hospital experience preferred
- Warehouse experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending and reaching.
- Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
- Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 75 pounds.
- Must be ambulatory and able to drive to patients' homes and climb stairs.
- Must be able to read, write and communicate with patients and caregivers.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
