As a Department Manager, you will support the evolving Healthy Choice program and serve as a representative in presentations to leadership and external groups. In this role, you will manage a team of approximately 12 coaches, including 3 senior coaches, provide regular coaching, conduct one-on-one meetings and facilitate professional growth and development. You also will oversee the operations of a department or work group to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Duties are to manage and control annual budgets, analyze workflows, plan and implement procedural changes and coordinate schedules. Additionally, you will handle various administrative duties to support the overall success of your team and attend events and roadshows as part of this engagement.
This position provides opportunities to grow within the department, gain certifications, develop professional skills through presentations and build connections through networking.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with travel requirements to all Cleveland Clinic locations including Florida and Nevada.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Manage department personnel and operations which include staffing, training, workflow analysis and performance management.

Manage staffing to ensure appropriate allocation and compliance with goals and objectives.

Monitor quality and financial performance.

Ensure compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, quality requirements and customer service standards.

Recommend enhancement and cost saving strategies.
-
Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure and policy application.

Develop, monitor and implement programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service.

Analyze programs, make improvements and manage and control annual budgets.

Participate in managers meetings and relevant committees as assigned.

Lead quality assurance, case study reviews and feedback loops.

Host regular huddles and “All Hands” meetings.

Assist in enhancing and growing wellness and coaching-related initiatives.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field
-
Minimum four years supervisory or management experience OR an Associate’s degree and six years of experience OR a Master’s degree and three years of experience

Leadership experience
-
Microsoft Office skills
-
Public speaking and presentation skills with executive presence
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching certification

Health-related experience such as health coaching, member relationship support, or case management

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate, mentor and engage teams

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $30.41
Maximum hourly: $46.38
