As an Imaging Education Coordinator, you will coordinate the education and training of Radiologic Science students and manage the continuing education program for technologists. You will also monitor all Imaging program students in Ohio, respond to phone calls and emails, answer questions, provide guidance to help individuals enter the imaging profession, and teach imaging classes.
A caregiver in this role works days from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Coordinate the education of Radiologic Science students at Main Campus and Family Health Centers.

Interact with multiple colleges, schools, and programs related to Radiography, Mammography, Sonography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, and Nuclear Medicine students.

On-board all imaging students for the Main Campus and Family Health Centers using the Silkroad system.
-
Act as Clinical Instructor for Radiography students from various affiliated programs.
-
Teach classes related to anatomy and positioning in Radiography.
-
Maintain student files and all paperwork related to Radiography students.

Coordinate continuing education opportunities for staff technologists at Main Campus and Family Health Centers.

Apply for approval from ASRT for all continuing education activities.

Monitor the Imaging Institute student observation program.
-
Contribute as a member of multiple advisory councils and committees.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Associate's Degree in a related field
-
Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
-
Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(ARRT), in good standing, specific credential dependent on modality
-
Current state licensure (RL) required prior to employment, dependent on modality
-
Minimum five years as a technologist in a medium to large size hospital
-
Minimum two years of teaching and or training experience
