As a Department Manager of Stuart Family Health Center, you will oversee your designated department and team, supervising all areas of staffing, annual budgets, workflow, procedures and improvement initiatives. You will also assist with various scheduling and related administrative duties, offering an additional avenue through which to further development management skills.

A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with occasional on-call requirements.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Manage department operations and personnel.
- Complete staffing, training, workflow analysis and performance management.
- Manage staffing to ensure appropriate allocation and compliance with goals and objectives.
- Monitors quality and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with government health regulations, JCAHO guidelines, quality requirements and customer service standards.
- Recommend enhancement and cost saving strategies.
- Resolve interdepartmental issues to ensure consistency in quality, procedure and policy application.
- Develop, monitor and implement programs to enhance customer service, develop skills and improve scope of service.
- Analyze programs and make improvements.
- Participate in manager meetings and relevant committees as assigned by Director.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Associates Degree and three years of team lead, supervisor or manager experience OR five years of experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or a related field
- Healthcare experience

Physical Requirements:
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate office equipment.
- May require extended periods of sitting, standing and walking.
- Must be able to walk to attend meetings; must have normal or corrected vision to normal range.
- Ability to clearly communicate by phone and in person.

- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $27.65
Maximum hourly: $42.17
