As a Beaker CPI Systems Analyst, you will support information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining and providing ongoing optimization. Duties include troubleshooting Beaker/LIS related incidents, workflow analysis, monitoring and addressing Beaker/LIS related interface errors, performing low complexity Beaker/LIS related build, and assisting with project documentation, task plans and general communications.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am – 5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Participate in feasibility analysis, quality assurance evaluation, automated systems modification, estimating, planning, designing, developing, prototyping, building, resting and implementing.

Recommend solutions to enhance system functionality.

Collaborate with system users and other IT professionals to evaluate, plan, design, implement, and provide ongoing optimization and preventative maintenance support for Beaker/LIS applications.

Gather, validate and translate technological requirements into design and development specifications while providing Beaker/LIS product management.

Analyze, design and build workflows to meet the needs of Beaker/LIS users.
-
Analyze and diagnose Beaker/LIS related system problems, identify the root cause, and then solve the problem or escalate issues to other appropriate IT caregivers when outside area of responsibility or expertise.

Coordinate moderate and high complexity Beaker/LIS projects.
-
Assume on-call responsibilities as required.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
-
Associate’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field
-
OR 4 years of clinical experience in a role utilizing the systems supported by this position (Epic, Beaker and LIS)
-
OR Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of clinical or implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
-
OR High School diploma/GED and 6 years of clinical or implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience preferably in a health care or lab environment
-
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Experience typically supported by a license in a medically related field such as nursing, respiratory, lab, or technical certification in a related field

Certification/proficiency in one or more Epic applications
-
Beaker certification/proficiency or other Lab Informatics System certification
-
Beaker/LIS implementation or support experience

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $33.46
Maximum hourly: $51.03
