Computed tomography technologists use computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for the diagnosis of medical issues. A CT Technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Our Weekender Flex Program allows caregivers to work 48 hours per pay period with weekend shift options. The caregiver in this role will have a part-time status and be eligible for part-time benefits/PTO but will be eligible for full-time tuition reimbursement benefits. A caregiver in this role works weekend Saturday, Sunday, Monday shifts from 7:00 p.m. — 7:00 a.m.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Ensure compliance with standards of the accrediting bodies, state mandated revised code and the CMS Conditions of Participation.

Promote interprofessional synchronization throughout the acute episode.

Complete effective handoffs to the next level of care or community to ensure continuity of care.

Proactively assess, identify and work to mitigate the risk posed by barriers to patients’ transitions of care.

Work with the patient and/or care partner(s) to develop a comprehensive, individualized transitional care plan.

Participate and lead in patient rounding activities, huddles and committee meetings.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
-
Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [R.T.(R) (ARRT)] in good standing
-
Certification in Computed Tomography [R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)] within one year of hire
-
Current state licensure
-
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
-
Knowledge of federal and state regulations
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting
