When we do everything in service of our patients and caregivers, no detail gets ignored. On our facilities team, your job will be to create a comfortable and safe environment — just like our patients have come to expect. Your efforts with focus on maintaining medical devices and equipment, assisting with equipment development projects and similar tasks. Ultimately, while you may not interact with patients directly, your work will leave a lasting impression on their and their families’ lives.
A caregiver in this position works day/evening/night/weekend, from 10:00AM – 8:30PM or 12:00PM—10:30AM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Perform targets rounding in active patient areas to recover assets for processing and redistribution.
-
Troubleshoot, maintain and repair specified medical devices.
-
Assist with and/or leads special projects as designated.
-
Order supplies and ensure adherence to unit/department budget, as needed.

Stock patient rooms or deploy supplies for use, as needed.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High School Diploma or GED
-
One year of Hospital Medical Device Logistics/Repair Experience OR additional experience in Hospital Operations, Logistics or related military training

Proficiency in web applications, databases, and spreadsheets
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Associate's Degree
-
Training in operations, lean/Six Sigma and/or process improvement
