As a Volunteer Assistant, you will perform various administrative and coordinating tasks to support the Volunteer Services Office. While you may not interact with the community directly, your efforts help ensure families continue receiving the services and support provided by the Cleveland Clinic team of dedicated volunteers.
A caregiver in this position works varying shifts. This is a PRN role.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Maintain and update the volunteer database.
- Generate necessary reports, communications and other documents.
- Maintain accurate and current departmental records.
- Perform administrative/clerical functions as needed, including processing mail, answering phones and ordering office supplies.
- Assist with coordinating, scheduling and monitoring the activities of assigned volunteers and orientate assigned volunteers.
- Assist with planning and carrying out various departmental special events, including annual recognition and appreciation events.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Minimum two years experience.
- Bachelor’s degree may offset experience requirement
- Experience coordinating multiple functions, managing data and leading mid-size projects preferred.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Experience as a volunteer and training/managing volunteers and/or people

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $15.75
Maximum hourly: $21.65
