Research Student II – Post Baccalaureate

With one of the largest cell production facilities in the state and a robust biorepository, Cleveland Clinic plans to lead the future of head and neck cancer care and cancer therapies. As a Research Student on this team, you will work on IRB submissions, meet with Investigators and ensure research compliance. You will also have ample support, flexible scheduling options and ongoing training opportunities to help you grow as a professional and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
This is a 1 year temporary position that will begin July 1, 2025 and will conclude on June 30, 2026. This position is not available for visa sponsorship.
A caregiver in this position works from 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Learn laboratory techniques to support ongoing research projects in a laboratory or clinical setting.
- Learn how to record and analyze data related to research experiments or data sets.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Undergraduate Degree
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Previous research laboratory experience
- Accepted or enrolled in an accredited college or university as a medical student, MA/MS student or other graduate program student; excludes PhD students

Physical Requirements:
- Working in a stationary position for extended periods
- Operating a computer and other office equipment
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
- Ability to distinguish color
- Manual dexterity to handle specimens and repair equipment
- Lifting and transporting equipment or specimens weighing up to 20 pounds
- Some exposure to hazardous chemicals, biohazards, radioactive materials, etc.
