We are seeking a detail-oriented Transcriptionist to join our team of caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology to accurately transcribe medical reports. You will work alongside healthcare providers to accurately and efficiently document patient encounters, ensuring that medical records are complete and up to date.
A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Provide clerical support for the Pathologists and result reporting of cytopathology and anatomic pathology.

Complete transcription of both gross and final diagnosis for cytology and surgical reports.

Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians, nursing personnel, and patients.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

High School diploma or GED.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

One year of college or equivalent.

Six months of experience in Pathology transcription.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $15.25
Maximum hourly: $19.60
