Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible physician in Internal Medicine with additional certification or fellowship training in Obesity Medicine to join our growing team in beautiful Vero Beach, Florida. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to world-class resources and support from the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients, with a focus on prevention, chronic disease management, and wellness.
- Deliver specialized care in obesity medicine, including individualized weight management plans, lifestyle counseling, and pharmacologic interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including dietitians, behavioral health specialists, and endocrinologists.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research opportunities, if desired.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Obesity Medicine (ABOM).
- Active or eligible for Florida medical licensure.
- Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous improvement.
