As Finance Manager III, you will supervise and lead Financial Analysts by providing project or program leadership and leading financial performance management initiatives. This role supports Cleveland Clinic's international and emerging market growth, providing access to our model of care to more patients around the world. An ideal candidate has a finance and/or accounting background in an international healthcare setting. You must have a base of clinical financial knowledge, volumes and how they drive financials and staffing, etc.
A caregiver in this position works variable shifts. This position is remote w/some in person meeting requirements. Meetings could be at CCAC (Administrative Building, Beachwood, OH), BOC (Business Operation Center, Independence, OH) or Main Campus. Minimal travel outside NE OH.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Partner with the finance director in all financial matters and analyze business plans and initiatives.

Identify benchmarks in financial performance, hospital throughput, cost per case, length of stay and productivity metrics.

Assist in preparing financial presentations as necessary to review operating performance.

Assist the Finance Director in business operations, including financial reporting, billing and reimbursement, informatics and outside strategic business ventures.

Assist in developing financial strategic business plans and lead certain aspects of the plans.

Work with the Finance Director to prepare for the business review meetings and provide analysis and interpretation with regard to business plans, new staff recruitment, variance analysis and fete requests.

Work with the revenue cycle staff to ensure maximum reimbursement and adherence to revenue cycle related policies.

Establish work plans and review activity of the reimbursement staff.

Work with the Finance Director on the outlook and annual budget cycle, including budget spreads, budget reconciliation, capital budget, business plans and any other budget-related responsibilities.

Support the Finance Director with the treasury and research budget preparation.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor’s Degree and six years of functionally relevant professional experience, including two years of managerial/supervisor experience.

Microsoft Office skills and executive presentation and presence
-
Critical Thinking and Problem-solving skills
- Microsoft suite experience and client facing experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- 6 – 8 years of experience with management consulting and/or international healthcare finance
- Master’s Degree

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Strata, Oracle, and Tableau skills

Consulting background or ability to model greenfield hospitals

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $40.48
Maximum hourly: $61.74
