The Bath Health and Wellness Center offers compassionate and advanced Hematology and Oncology treatment. As an RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering this exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to offer emotionally support during some of their most vulnerable times. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 4:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Provide nursing care in accordance with the Standards of Safe Nursing Practice/Ohio Administrative Code and Understanding Scopes of Practice/Ohio Board of Nursing and ANA Scope and Standards of Care.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for a given patient population within the established standards and practices of AGMC.
- Complete ongoing assessments.
- Safely administer treatments and medications.
- Accurately administer and document chemotherapy, IVs and other medications according to established standards of care and policies and procedures including investigational chemotherapy.
- Enter laboratory, EKG and procedure orders/charges as applicable without errors.
- Obtain chemotherapy certification in accordance with departmental policy.
- Recognize significant changes in patient's condition and respond appropriately.
- Complete mandatory education and training to maintain competencies, requirements, certification and/or licensure.
- Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Physical Requirements:
- Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
- Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
- Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
