As an HR Generalist I, you will provide counsel and direction to management in all aspects of Human Resources functions for assigned areas. In this role, you will provide support in the areas of employee relations, compensation, performance management and development, team effectiveness and employee engagement. A caregiver in this position works on-site Monday-Friday from 8:00AM — 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Support the HR strategic plan and established Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) for the assigned areas.

Act as a confidential advisor on performance management, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, right of reviews and investigations.

Conduct employee investigations and review findings with the HR Director or Generalist II to make recommendations to business leaders.
-
Interpret and advise on policies and programs encompassing all aspects of Human Resource management to employees.

Provide support in communicating Human Resources Center of Excellence (COE) Programs and their implementation to all employees.
-
Build and maintain relationships with the various Human Resources Center of Excellence (COE) partners and ensure communication of programs and their implementation to all employees.
-
Provide support by partnering with talent acquisition and compensation to review requests such as promotions, equity reviews and job reclassifications and providing recommendations to leadership.

Support regulatory practices to promote fair and equitable treatment of employees.
-
Partner with HR Director to provide developmental training to specific segments of the organization as needed.

Monitor compliance with organizational initiatives (e.g., compliance modules, flu, engagement, etc.).

Navigate and pull reports from various systems such as Kronos, HRIS (Workday), My Learning, etc.

Analyze HR and business metrics and provide recommendations to the HR Director and leadership.

Partner with the legal department as needed/required.

Support the process for all regulatory/accreditation surveys such as Joint Commission, CMS and ODH.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field and one year of related experience, including project management OR Associate’s Degree and an three years of experience OR High School Diploma/GED and five years of experience

Familiarity with data analysis and HR metrics reporting (Workday, Kronos, My Learning)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system. For some roles, ability to travel to other locations, including international travel.

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $25.13
Maximum hourly: $38.33
