As LifeStyles Lead, you will oversee the Aquatics, Recreation, Operations, Fitness and/or Group Exercise Departments. Using your knowledge of wellness and holistic health, you will help develop programs for your designated unit that enhance the experience and drive motivation. This position offers a great way to stretch your management and leadership skills at one of the most respected healthcare systems in the world.
A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM – 7:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Participates in interviewing and training new caregivers.
- Assist in payroll, scheduling caregivers, ordering supplies and covering shifts as needed.
- Help develop, instruct and supervise the quality of programs and services.
- Support maintaining an appropriate schedules for all locations.
- Assist in implementing a promotional strategy to generate maximum participation in all activities and programs.
- Assist with the LifeStyles Emergency Action Plan (EAP) staff training, CPR/AED training and certification and incident debriefings.
- Conduct regular inspections focusing on safety and cleanliness.
- Provide input to manager for annual department budget.
- Participate in Manager On Duty (MOD) rotation.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- High School Diploma/GED for Aquatics, Recreation Operations or Group Exercise Departments
- Bachelor’s Degree for Fitness Department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED or Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Certification, American Cross or Heartsaver CPR AED and Lifeguard Certifications for Aquatic Department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for adults and infants/children for Recreation Department
- Basic Life Support (BLS) with AED Certification for Operations, Fitness and Group Exercise Departments
- One year of experience in designated specialty

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $17.25
Maximum hourly: $26.31
