Serving as Access Optimization Analyst III, being a caregiver starts in the office, where you will focus on supporting scheduling workflows, fulfilling EPIC requests, creating reports and much more. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 4:00PM or 8:00AM – 5:00PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Guide the change request process to the enterprise-wide Epic IT systems and coordinate efforts with others to ensure requests are completed.
- Assist in integrating new physician practices into front end Epic Systems.
- Manage Epic change management requests while maintaining the ongoing relationship between the Epic IT department and its direct application customer.
- Support physician practice integration into front-end Epic systems including discovery, design, implementation, and optimization.
- Consult and provide guidance for Epic workflows, scheduling templates, scheduling questionnaire and/or decision tree build adjustments.
- Build relationships internally with the Institute gatekeepers and management and externally with the Epic consulting team to ensure updates are applied and rolled out successfully.
- Lead change requests.
- Analyze all possible impacts that will result from the requested change.
- Verify Institute gatekeeper change approval.
- Validate requested changes in production.
- Verify accuracy of questionnaire flow after implemented change.
- Lead Epic testing and validation efforts.
- Conduct additional QA for appreciative inquiry.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration or related field
- Four years of Epic system experience in an outpatient setting (preferably in an academic medical center) OR a minimum of four years supporting Epic applications that includes optimizing
- OR associate degree and six years of experience in IT or related field
- OR high school diploma/GED and eight years of experience in IT or related field
- Epic Cadence Certification
- Ability to lead, motivate, influence, probe, analyze, synthesize and articulate complex subject matter so it can be easily understood
- Demonstrated leadership, team, organizational and problem solving skills
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
- Three years of experience as an Access Optimization Analyst I or II
- Solid understanding of workflows in the ambulatory environment
- Experience and comfort working at all levels of a healthcare organization

Pay Range
Minimum hourly: $36.80
Maximum hourly: $56.13
