    Respiratory Therapists (RTs), also known as Respiratory Care Professionals (RCPs), are trained to work cohesively with the healthcare team in the assessment, treatment and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary diseases. Respiratory Therapists at Cleveland Clinic also benefit from their connection to and collaboration with Cleveland Clinic’s Respiratory Institute. The Institute is focused on providing world-class patient care by combining our strengths in clinical care, research and education. With more than 170 pulmonologists, allergists/immunologists, infectious disease experts and critical care specialists, the Respiratory Institute staff diagnoses and treats a wide spectrum of disorders in our outpatient offices, inpatient hospital floors and intensive care units. We treat more than 200,000 patients annually in our outpatient clinics with the expertise and care Cleveland Clinic is recognized for in the U.S. and throughout the world.

    Phlebotomy Technician
    The Phlebotomy Technician performs all patient service and required blood and sample collection, tracking, transport and processing for all patient groups.

    Pre-Analytics Processing Technician I
    The Pre-Analytics Processing Technician I is an entry-level position in the laboratory. The role involves sorting, tracking and delivery of specimens on foot, and computer-based clerical duties.

    Lead Phlebotomy Technician
    The Lead Phlebotomy Technician handles phlebotomy-associated duties and assists the leadership team with daily oversight of the department to ensure Inpatient Phlebotomy, the Outpatient Lab and the Specimen Processing area maintain a continuous workflow.

    Phlebotomy Technician Float
    A Phlebotomy Technician performs all blood and sample collection, tracking, transport and processing for all patient groups.

    Pre-Analytics Processing Technician II
    The Pre Analytics Processing Technician II will access and manually process laboratory specimens. The Technician is expected to perform daily quality assurance activities and routine maintenance of equipment while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

    Outreach Phlebotomy Technician
    The Outreach Phlebotomy Technician performs blood collection for Extended Care Clients. They conduct and assist with specimen transport, tracking, processing and preparation for shipping, ensuring that all specimens are preserved properly before they are sent for testing.

    Pre-Analytics Processing Technician III
    The Pre-Analytics Processing Technician III performs advanced manual processing and problem-solving techniques in laboratory accessioning and data entry. Using their laboratory knowledge, they will interpret and accession reference lab specimens and assist with data collection and analytics.

    Lead Outreach Phlebotomy Technician
    The Lead Outreach Phlebotomy Technician assists the Team Leader by coordinating the daily activities of the Outreach Phlebotomy Technicians. They will ensure that phlebotomy collections are performed promptly and specimens are processed upon receipt in the laboratory. They will also support the traveling outreach phlebotomy team and processing workstations by monitoring and distributing daily workloads. Phlebotomy Technicians, perform technical work and complete supervisory duties as needed.

    Lead Pre-Analytics Processing Technician
    The Lead Pre-Analytics Processing Technician assists the Team Leader by coordinating the daily activities, performing advanced manual processing and problem-solving in laboratory accessioning and data entry.

    Team Leader Pre-Analytics
    The Team Leader Pre-Analytics provides guidance and technical oversight of a local work group in pre-analytic services. The leader will interact with the Department Supervisor and site leadership to maintain staffing, service levels, quality and performance, implement safety procedures and comply with safety regulations.”

    Supervisor Lab Pre-Analytics
    The Supervisor Lab Pre-Analytics oversees the Pre-Analytic laboratory operations for assigned sites, including all employment-related activities, budgets, fiscal performance and adherence to quality and safety guidelines.

    Manager Lab Pre-Analytics
    The Manager Lab Pre-Analytics is responsible for all employment-related activities, budgets, fiscal performance and quality assurance for Pre-Analytic areas of the laboratory.
