Congratulations!
Congratulations on your new position, and welcome to Cleveland Clinic! You will be a valuable member of our team by assisting with and providing direct patient care.
What You Need to Know Before Day 1
Before your start date, you will need to log into your Cleveland Clinic Workday profile, complete a health assessment survey and authorize a background check.
Note: All upcoming communications will be sent primarily by email. Please check your inbox (and your spam/junk folder) regularly before your start date.
Logging into Workday
Log onto Workday to access and accept your offer letter.
Welcome Email
Once you accept your offer letter, a welcome email with Occupational Health dates and times should arrive within 2-3 business days.
Background Check
You will receive an email from a company called Certiphi Screening to authorize a background check. Follow the instructions to complete your background check.
Badging
Caregivers are required to wear a Cleveland Clinic ID Badge. When arriving for your badging appointment, please maintain a professional appearance. It is recommended that you wear business casual clothing or dress appropriately for the role you’ve been hired for. Pictures for your ID badge will be taken from the shoulders up.
I-9
In accordance with requirements from the Department of Homeland Security, you will need to present proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Acceptable documents are required before your start date but no later than three days after your first day. You can present these documents when you arrive for your onboarding appointment. For a list of acceptable documents, click here. Copies of documents or expired documents will not be accepted.
Fingerprints
You will receive instructions from your recruiter on how and when to complete a fingerprinting appointment (only if it is applicable for your role).
Occupational Health Assignment
You will also receive an email from Occupational Health regarding your health assessment surveys. Register and complete these surveys on a laptop or desktop computer (rather than on your phone).
If You Need to Reschedule
Please reach out to the Onboarding team (ccachrappointment@ccf.org) if you need to reschedule your onboarding appointment or if you need to adjust your start date, or if you have questions about pre-employment requirements. Not attending these appointments does not mean you are turning down the job offer, but it may delay your start date.
You’re well on your way to your start date at Cleveland Clinic! After you attend your onboarding appointments, you will receive your Occupational Health results from CCAC-HR (ccachrappointments@ccf.org). Once you’ve been cleared to start, you’ll be notified by the Friday before your start date, with a link to your new caregiver orientation.
