About the Program
Founded in 1975, Cleveland Clinic’s Child Neurology Residency Program accepts two trainees per year and is accredited by the ACGME. Most trainees enter the five-year combined Neurology/Pediatrics track, which begins with two years of pediatrics training, followed by a year of adult neurology and two years focused on child neurology, including inpatient and outpatient care, a comprehensive neurophysiology curriculum, and a broad range of elective subspecialty rotations (epilepsy, neuromuscular disease, movement disorders, neuroimmunology, genetics, neurodevelopmental, headache, and others). Residents train alongside a large group of pediatric and adult neurological specialists across a tertiary academic and community-based patient population, with strong support for scholarly activity and resident wellness.
