As an Inpatient Pharmacy Manager, you will manage the daily operations of Hillcrests' inpatient pharmacy services and identify, develop and implement innovative, systematic and timely solutions to improve quality. You will support Hillcrest operations and have the potential to support Mentor when needed. This role includes personnel leadership and inventory management, as well as support for the implementation of various projects.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with on-call and occasional float requirements to Mentor Hospital when needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:

Identify customer needs and facilitate meeting those needs utilizing continuous process improvement techniques.

Identify and propose practical solutions to technical, professional, personnel or procedural problems affecting daily workflow.

Ensure that the department is adequately staffed with properly trained personnel.

Establish work assignments and schedules.

Participate in the development of operational and clinical program activities.

Promote and develop the clinical activities of pharmacy caregivers through counseling, training and teaching.

Train and instruct caregivers as to their duties.
-
Coordinate orientation and training of new caregivers in job functions and responsibilities.

Monitor financials and other pertinent statistics.

Assist with evaluations of financial performance.

Maintain records of narcotics, poisons, and habit-forming drugs received in accordance with state and federal laws.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
-
Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in the current state or within 90 days of hire.

Upon start, completion of a Health-system Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (HSPAL) PGY2 Residency or minimum of 4 years of relevant pharmacy experience, including at least 1 year of leadership experience, upon start.

Pharmacy degree with current state licensure and MS, MBS, PharmD and/or residency.

Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $118,960.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $190,360.00

A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set and education.
