The world class cardiovascular medicine program at Cleveland Clinic is seeking a general cardiologist candidate with an interest in Cardio-Obstetrics within our established and highly respected health system. Cleveland Clinic Regional Cardiovascular Medicine is a rapidly growing group of more than 60 cardiologists providing high quality patient care to patients in the communities where they reside. The Cleveland Clinic Regional Health System includes 14 hospitals and over 180 outpatient facilities in Northeastern Ohio.
We are seeking candidates with an interest in developing patient-centered outpatient and hospital practices in General Cardiology. The position is multi-faceted: (1) ensuring outpatient access for patients for cardiovascular care services, (2) providing timely diagnostic testing and hospital care, (3) supporting the delivery of the highest quality care and patient experience, and (4) expanding the Cardio-Obstetrics service line to our western region. General cardiology roles include opportunities for outpatient and inpatient consultation, imaging interpretations, and procedural services in line with candidate’s background and experience.
In addition to these vital general cardiology duties, we are seeking applicants interested in the cardiovascular care of pregnant patients. Our multidisciplinary Cardio-Obstetrics team includes specialists in cardiology, obstetrics/gynecology, cardiovascular surgery, anesthesia, and genetics. We evaluate and manage pregnant patients with heart disease throughout their pregnancy and delivery. We also offer a Postpartum Heart Clinic to manage cardiovascular risk in those with adverse pregnancy outcomes, including hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and gestational diabetes. There are ~5600 deliveries at Fairview Hospital each year and the demand for providers comfortable in managing cardiac conditions in pregnancy continues to grow.

Candidates should be BC/BE in Cardiovascular Medicine. A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
