Celebrating Nurses Week at Cleveland Clinic
This week, we’d like you to join us in celebrating our nursing caregivers for Nurses Week. Each day, nurses across the world provide compassionate care for patients, showing dedication and innovation to ensure the best outcomes. At Cleveland Clinic, we are proud to have more than 16,000 nurses providing care in over 200 specialties. With top rankings in cardiology and more than 11 locations earning Magnet Status, it is true that our nurses are dedicated to our care priorities.
Our nursing leaders wanted to join us in recognizing our nursing caregivers this year, by providing a few messages. Susan Clark, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer in Cleveland Clinic’s Florida region, had this to say:
“What an incredible time to be in the noble profession of Nursing! Regardless of the setting in which we practice, we are an integral voice and presence in the healthcare setting. Every day, we show up and touch the lives of others in remarkable ways, often sacrificing our needs for the needs of others, without even thinking twice. I am so proud to be a nurse and of all my nursing colleagues, both near and far. All of you make more of a difference than I think you may realize. During this Nurses Week, I would encourage all of you to continue to find innovative ways to improve what we do and how we do it. There are truly no limits to the impact we can make now and in the future.”
Craig Tobias, Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital, took some time to speak on innovations in the nursing field.
We commend our nurses — educators, advocates, decision makers and innovators; as the impact they make extends beyond the walls of clinical settings. Their expertise, insights and experiences are invaluable in creating a healthier world. Thank you to nurses everywhere for your commitment to leading today and shaping tomorrow.
