Beyond physical health, we address our caregivers’ emotional and spiritual needs through several meaningful programs. The CONCERN employee assistance program gives free, confidential short-term counseling for caregivers and their families, whether for relational or legal challenges. Caregivers take advantage of this resource with confidence, as privacy is guaranteed and related documentation is never included in medical or personnel files. Also, pastoral care services at each hospital ensure that caregivers have an additional resource to lean on during difficult times, as well as support for their spiritual values.

In pursuit of our overall goal of world class care, we cultivate a culture of recognition throughout our system. These efforts include a formal performance review program, in-house education, tuition reimbursement and our Caregiver Celebrations awards program. Our Caregiver Celebrations program encompasses 4 tiers of awards, which include peer and manager recognition, gift certificates, events, and for outstanding staff, trophies and awards dinners. The entire system runs on an automated, online system for optimum fairness and participation.
