Clinical Systems Analyst IIIBeachwood, Ohio, United States
Duties: The Clinical Systems Analyst III at Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus (25900 Science Park Drive, Bldg. 2, Beachwood, Ohio 44122) is responsible for managing projects and implementing and supporting Epic clinical information systems, with a concentration in clinical documentation tools including flowsheets, smarttools, reports, patient lists and columns, and best practice advisories. He or she estimates, plans, designs, develops, prototypes, implements, evaluates, and modifies automated systems. The Clinical Systems Analyst III defines training requirements for end-users and project team members and recommends automated and manual solutions to enhance overall system functionality. Additional responsibilities include: conducting feasibility studies and quality assurance; coordinating on-site systems administration and support activities; communicating with end-users to understand current workflow, assist in problem definition and system design, and incorporate Epic with minimal disruption; coordinating and conducting education and end-user training programs to assure systems are utilized as designed; developing end-user documentation; and performing system builds, data validation, and system testing. On call duties as needed; other duties as assigned. Telecommuting permitted.
Requirements: At a minimum, Cleveland Clinic requires the Clinical Systems Analyst III to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related healthcare field, or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation and three (3) years of experience implementing and supporting Epic clinical information systems.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($86,700 per year)
