I completed my application, what can I expect next?

To confirm you have completed your application successfully, you will receive a confirmation email from Cleveland Clinic. A recruiter will review the contents of your application; if you are deemed a viable candidate,  you will be contacted directly for next steps in the interview process.

How do I create a username and password to begin my application?

After clicking the "Apply" button, the website will ask that you Create Account. You will be able to create your own username using a preferred e-mail address, and password. 

I forgot my password, how can I reset it?

Select the "Forgot Password" link for the first application login, and select the "Forgot User Name or Password" link for the second login.

How do I apply for an open job opportunity?

You must complete our online application by visiting clevelandclinic.jobs. Search for a job based on your skills or interest and click the APPLY button that can be found on the individual job details page. You will then be redirected you to our Applicant Tracking System: Workday. We do not have a paper application process. On average, it takes 20 minutes to complete and submit a job application. 

Job seekers can complete their applications through their mobile, desktop, or tablet devices. You may also apply at your local library. 

A resume is highly recommended when applying.  

How can I check the status of my application?

You can check the status of your completed application by clicking here.  
Login into your account with the same username and password you originally used to complete your application. You are encouraged to check the status of your application after 30 days. 

Who can I contact if I am having difficulties completing the application, need special assistance, accommodations, or if I want to withdraw my application?

If you experience difficulty when completing the online application, please call 216.448.CCHR (2247) or email recruitforms@ccf.org. Applicants can withdraw their own applications in the Workday System with your username and password.

I received a request to complete a video interview through HireVue, what does this mean?

HireVue is Cleveland Clinic's On Demand Video Interview system. It gives candidates the flexibility to complete the initial interview screen at their leisure from their mobile, desktop or tablet device. The interview takes on average 30 minutes to complete. Once you have completed the interview, it will be reviewed by your designated recruiter. You will be contacted to schedule an interview with a Hiring Manager if you meet the position’s requirements and preferred qualifications.

Is my information protected?

Yes, our website is secure. Your information will remain confidential and will only be used for our recruiting process.

Why was I not selected for the job?

Candidates are carefully selected based on their completed application. It is our responsibility to identify potential candidates based on the position's requirements and preferred qualifications as well as the applicant's work experience. 

How much does this job pay?

Each position at Cleveland Clinic has a varying pay structure. Our pay structure is based on the role and prior work experience of the applicant. A recruiter will discuss hourly rates or salary with you if you are selected to move forward during the recruitment process. 

Will I need to complete any pre-employment health tests?

Cleveland Clinic is a drug and smoke free environment. Our policy supports that we will not hire anyone who tests positive for drugs or nicotine. Cleveland Clinic, as a patient safety initiative, administers an influenza prevention program.  You will be required to comply with the program, which may include obtaining an influenza vaccination or exemption. Depending on the position, you may be required to complete other physicial capability exams which will be shared with you at the time of your phone screen. 

Can I contact a recruiter personally?

Once you’ve applied, a recruiter will contact you to schedule an interview if your qualifications meet the position’s requirements and preferred qualifications.

If I was previously a Cleveland Clinic Caregiver, am I able to apply to a job at Cleveland Clinic in the future?

Yes. Previous caregivers are welcome to apply for positions posted on clevelandclinic.jobs. You must complete the online application.

I am a student looking for internship opportunities, what is available?

Cleveland Clinic is proud to offer the Student Experience. Does Cleveland Clinic check for references?

As candidates are moved through the recruitment process they may be asked to provide Cleveland Clinic with names of personal/professional references, including current or past supervisors. Please be advised that we do confirm all information provided by you and your references are legitimate. This process is time sensitive and an immediate response is required in order to prevent delaying the interview or offer process. If candidate is a recent graduate, they may include teachers, processors, or instructors.
