Cleveland ClinicChildren’s is seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist with advanced training and special interest in Echocardiography to join the Pediatric Cardiology Department within the Institute of Pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital.
The successful candidate would join our staff of 15 Pediatric Cardiologists and 3 Nurse Practitioners in a busy clinical and academic practice. Our main campus facility has multiple echo rooms and state of the art equipment, as well as a dedicated program for performing sedated echocardiograms. An extensive outreach program encompasses echocardiograms performed and interpreted by our personnel; in addition, we have a robust program in fetal echocardiography. The lab currently performs over 6,500 echocardiograms, including fetal and transesophageal studies, and over 175 cardiac MRI’s annually. The Echo lab is ICAEL accredited. The Pediatric Cardiology Department has an active fellowship program with funding available for a 4th year fellowship in Non-Invasive Imaging.
A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.The Department deservedly enjoys a national reputation for excellence in clinical care and patient outcomes. With strong leadership, the program has tremendous growth potential. Desirable interests should include clinical and/or basic science research.
