PATIENT GUEST SERV ASST:
Summary: Patient Guest Service Assistants provide a high level of customer service to assist with way finding, act as a local resource to visitors and ensure a safe environment for patients, guests and colleagues.
Responsibilities: Meet, greet and assist patients, guests and colleagues with way finding (providing directions), obtaining wheelchairs and providing minimal transport. Access patient information to confirm appointment times, appointment locations and room numbers to guests. Provide concierge services to assist patients and guests with accessing Internet information (driving directions, restaurants, shopping and amenities) in the Cleveland Clinic and local community. Correct and/or report safety, maintenance and cleaning needs. Respond to Code Blue and Code Red emergencies with appropriate equipment. Coordinate patient needs with other departments. Other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Minimum three years experience in a customer service role with at least one year providing face-to-face customer service.
Physical Requirements: Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.
