Job Details:

Summary:

This position is responsible for the design and delivery of training courses for CCAD employees. This position is also responsible for providing pre- and post-training support to facilitate the transference of classroom learning into the improvement of job skills and competency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Prepares and facilitates training courses and programs for employees, including the design of instructional and participant materials
*Coaches and enables others on the Learning & Development team or within departments to prepare and facilitate training courses
*Organizes training manuals, multimedia visual aids and other educational materials
*Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs
*Determines data needed to report on learning and development performance (e.g., attendance, penetration, etc.)
*Conducts training sessions in both large and small group settings
*Develops testing and evaluation procedures to leverage the impact of training and ensure that training results in business improvements
*Works to identify appropriate training needs

Experience:

*Minimum of five (5) years of human resources experience Knowledge of adult education and teaching/learning processes
*Experience with or understanding of Learning Management Systems
*Demonstrated strong application of adult learning concepts, instructional design methods and educational program delivery
*Ability to use a variety of learning/training concepts and principles
*Strong group presentation and facilitation skills
*Strong oral and written communication skills
*Ability to speak and write in English
*Experience as a trainer is preferred
*Ability to speak and write in Arabic is preferred
*Health care industry experience is preferred

Education Requirements:

*Bachelor’s degree in Education, Health Services Administration or Communications or related field
*Master’s degree in Education, Health Services Administration or Communications, or related field is preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Typical physical demands include: a high degree of manual dexterity to sufficiently perform computer functions on a keyboard, produce materials on a PC and operate basic office equipment, normal or corrected vision and hearing, operate audiovisual equipment used during training programs, physically move, lift and carry training equipment and materials, mobility sufficient to visit with departments or employees throughout CCAD, stand in front of an audience for up to eight (8) hours a day and lift up to 30 lbs.
